I have visited Westport several times during the past three years. The relaxing atmosphere, walking the beach path, and beachcombing enable me to refocus and return to teaching and writing refreshed. You have done a fine job on this web site. I especially enjoyed the "Locals" page. It's great that students are involved in creating their own pages. Creating in this way probably brightens some of the rainy days.

It's been 30 years since we have been back to Westport and it appears that it has not been altered by City Slickers. Have many found memories of fishing, claming and long walks on the beach. Let's hope it keeps that special charm.

Enjoyed your Web site. Took a trip down memory lane. I taught school in Westport from 1974 to 1976 and enjoyed Charter fishing with Rockey's Charter. Can't wait to bring my family for a visit. Still have the picture of the 52 pound salmon I caught in 1977!

Everytime I hear of a storm off the could be in Westport to see it. We never get enough in the way of film footage here about storms there. All we see is Seattle. Boring. Love how the laundromat on Pacific Ave was updated. Makes the laundry of vacation more pleasurable to do. Anyway, hope all is well there after these couple of days of storms. See ya next summer Westport!!!!!!!!

Just said goodbye to my son --- he and a friend are on the way to your beautiful town right now to go surfing. I can't tell you how happy I was to find your Westportwa.com website. The ocean conditions were of special help to me (if I read them correctly) and it was just a real relief for my worried mind to actually see pictures of such a beautiful place! I really do want to visit someday soon. There seem to be so many fun things to do and see (I think I will pass on the surfing though).

Just came back from a trip to family in Washington. Visited Westport and even in the rain thought it was a very beautiful town & area. Need to know if anyone can give me the name & phone number of one of the small shops along the docks. It has hermit crabs and wind chimes for sale. Lost the info I had and wanted to contact them regarding purchasing chimes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was in the shop today enjoying all of the Art work. We talked about Dan Heller, an artist friend from California. You took his webbsite info from me, and I took yours. You said you would check it out to see if his work was something you would like to have in your work. His photography is beatiful, there are photos from all over the world, the United States, all sorts of topics. Please be sure to take a look at his photos. I have sent your webbsite informationn on to him also. Maybe one day, his work and your shop will benefit each other. I like the displays in your shop and the friendliness. I will be back many times in the future.

Whenever we don't have enough time to travel to Oregon's coast, or just for day trips, my hubbie and I like to come down here to Westport. Being lighthouse fans we enjoy looking at the lighthouse as well as the lens in the museum. Westport's little shops are fun to look through and we always buy souvenirs of our trips. We've even brought guests from Japan to enjoy the sun and surf. This last 4th of July (1999) we decided to stay overnight. It was lots of fun! We really enjoyed our stay, and recommend Westport as a great getaway for those of us in the Seattle/Tacoma area who need a beach fix, but can't take too much time off. With beaches, fishing, crabbing, lighthouse watching, souvenir shopping and just plain little town fun, Westport has the best variety for the money!
