July 1998, "Alex Rodriguez: Hit a Grand Slam" hit
the shelves of bookstores across the country. It's a motivational
children's book in which Alex shares his life lessons. It's geared to
kids, but fans of any age will enjoy it. His message is anyone can
hit a grand slam by striving to improve in reading, math, physical
education, and citizenship. It is written by Alex, co authored by Greg
Brown, and illustrated by Doug Keith. Great book. If you don't have
it, GET IT! : )
